Munsell Color Wheel
- In colorimetry, the Munsell color system is a color space that specifies colors based on three color dimensions: hue, value (lightness), and chroma (color purity). It was created by Professor Albert H.
- A circular object that revolves on an axle and is fixed below a vehicle or other object to enable it to move easily over the ground
- A circular object that revolves on an axle and forms part of a machine
- a simple machine consisting of a circular frame with spokes (or a solid disc) that can rotate on a shaft or axle (as in vehicles or other machines)

The New Munsell Student Color Set, 3rd Edition
Whether in a fashion collection, a designed space, or a corporate brand, color has the power to separate one product or image from everyone else s. The Munsell Color System stresses an understanding of what color really is and how human beings perceive it. As a practicing artist and teacher, Albert Munsell understood the importance of being able to communicate clearly about color. The Munsell System is a color identification and notation system used by artists and designers that identifies colors by alpha numbers rather than by name, avoiding confusion and making communication easier. The endless variations in color can be defined in the Munsell System by three attributes: hue, value, and chroma. Just as length, width, and height describe a cube, so the amounts of hue, value, and chroma describe a color.
The Munsell Rock Color Chart provides a durable, accurate method for classifying and judging rocks sample. Each book comes with over 115 Munsell Color Standards each with its correct ISCC-NBS color name and unique Munsell alpha-numeric notation. Easily and accurately communicate the exact color information of your rock samples by using the Munsell Color Standards contained in the Rock Color Chart. This chart is primarily for field use and indicates the range of rock colors for all purposes and is accurate for wet or dry samples. Although the chart is mainly used to assign values to medium to finegrained rocks, it can also be used to describe coarse-grained rocks as well. The Munsell Rock Color Charts is a revision of the previously published Geological Society of America (GSA) Rock-Color Chart
Self portrait series ::Deflower:: #1
A self-portrait series done for an assignment for my photography/colour theory class.
The original assignment was to create 10 prints based on the Munsell colour wheel.
This is a test shot; I am actually working with a film camera, and need to process all the images by myself.
Being a scatter brain, I ran to take this picture, spent 3 hours printing test prints at the photo lab, only to find out that I was not allowed to use black and white as colours for my assignment.
I LEARNT SOMETHING NEW.
When you get an assignment, you need to pay attention to directions your professor gives you.
